Not just for Bridesmaids!

So we wanted to show you that our Vow Eliza & Ethan Multiwrap Dresses are not just for bridesmaids.  They’re for you – whoever you are.  Whether you’re skinny or curvy, young or of more mature years(!), these dresses will honestly look great on you.  And to prove it, we embarked on a creative photoshoot.  With the help of some very fabulous people, and one simple dress, we got some amazing results…

Not just for Bridesmaids!

One day you’re a bridesmaid in a long dress, the next you’re rocking a short cool casual combo!

Here’s our beautiful bridesmaid Hannah wearing the ‘Diva’ long length ‘Dusty Rose’ dress.  We’ve given it more sparkle by adding a Vow belt around the middle just to give a different look.  With a matching Vow headpiece Hannah is looking the picture perfect bridesmaid…

But more likely to wear her bridesmaid dress again shorter, we’ve simply cut the unfinished hem to a shorter length and teamed it with a casual denim jacket and converse pumps.  Same dress, completely different style!

Not just for Skinny-Minnie’s!

With the addition of some bright accessories you can create a 50’s feel

Jody is absolutely rocking the ‘Baby Blue’ dress with the introduction of a beautiful luminous floral necklace and a couple of bright belts.  If you’re a curvier shape please don’t shy away from these dresses as they are just perfect.  The weight of the dress and the gather in the skirt makes it hang just perfectly.  And they’re so comfy – you’ll be striking the poses like Jody all the time!

Not just for the Youngsters – but the Young at Heart!

Heading out to a ‘posh do’?  Add some great accessories, fab shoes and sparkly handbag and you’re away!

How fabulous do Tracy & Rani look on their way out on the town?!  They bought their own fabulous accessories to team with their dresses and we think they look just great.  Please don’t think you have to be a young girl to wear these dresses as they are such a versatile dress to have in your wardrobe.  Wrapping your style differently and adding different accessories means you can re-style it at each event you go to and no one need know it’s the same dress!

Tracy is wearing the ‘Platinum’ dress and we styled hers with a capped sleeve.  This creates a lovely shape at the front, especially with Tracy’s short hair, and just covers the tops of the shoulders and arms.

Rani is wearing the ‘Ruby’ dress which works perfectly with her hair colour and skin tone.  The richness of the red is perfectly accessorised with Rani’s beautiful gold accessories.

Asian Styling

Mother & Daughter in the same dress!

Rani’s gorgeous daughter Priya also wore a dress to match her Mum.  Priya is wearing the ‘Coral’ dress and once again she has accessorised with beautiful Asian jewellery.

They look different enough with the wrapping of the dresses for them both to wear it at the same time.  As the dresses are effectively a skirt with two very long scarves to ‘wrap’ in different ways, they are very saree like and you can see how this dress would be the perfect outfit for a guest at an Asian Wedding.

70’s Hippy-Chic!

Such a laid back cool look!

We absolutely adore this styling!!!  Georgie is pulling off the 70’s vibe with such ease and looks so modern at the same time.  Georgie’s wearing the ‘Champagne’ dress and we’ve gone for the contrasting addition of burgandy accessories – scarves, necklaces and of course her amazing burgandy boots!

Of course Georgie’s perfect hat and shaggy dog waistcoat make the outfit complete.  She’s cool and could easily wear this look out and about, or at festivals (maybe need to ditch the gorgeous boots and get some wellies though!).

Prom-tastic!

Appropriate & re-wearable – perfect for a young girl to wear to her Prom!

Dilara looks just divine in the new ‘Seashell’ colour.  Her beautiful hair was all the contrast we needed so we chose not to over accessorise and simply added a tiara and posh bag.  We wanted to celebrate Dilara’s youthfulness and be appropriate in how we styled her, so we chose a high necked halter-neck style wrap.  This provides a nice coverage at the top of the dress but shows off her lovely shoulders!  You can just imagine Dilara wearing this dress again in the summer, probably cutting it maxi length above the ankles, with sparkly sandals and an oversized slouchy bag.  Brilliant – how many other prom dresses are you likely to wear again?!

Biker Rocker!

Add some studs and the innocent prom dress transforms into something more gutsy!

Oh yes, we know how to transform a dress!  Here’s Georgie again but this time going all out with leather jacket and studded belt & cuff to rock out the ‘Blackberry’ dress.  Wrapped quite differently this time, we’re showing the strapless tying of the dress, with extra knots at the front to give more detail.  We’ve also added a draped effect to give the skirt some shape and texture.  So whether you buy this dress as a one off, or whether you’re wearing your blackberry bridesmaid dress again after the wedding, you can totally rock it up with some studs and black lippy!!

Mix n Match!

Your dress doesn’t have to be one colour – add a contrasting or complementing colour into the mix

To come full circle you might want to do something like this for your bridesmaids, or you might just want to add extra colour to a single dress you’re buying, but we’ve created a mix n match style to show how it can work.  Here’s Jody again and this time she’s joined by Katherine to demonstrate how you use two colours in one outfit.  Katherine is wearing the ‘Platinum’ dress but with the ‘Dusty Rose’ bandeau (boob tube top) underneath, whilst Jody is wearing the ‘Dusty Rose’ dress with the ‘Platinum’ bandeau.  The colours really complement each other in a subtle way.

Both girls are wearing the ‘Dusty Rose’ Eliza & Ethan flower clips, and we’ve added some extra material to give more contrasts.  Jody is wearing a ‘Platinum’ flower girl sash rolled and twisted around her waist to add that extra colour.  Meanwhile, we sneakily plaited in the little off-cut of material that we cut off the bottom of Jody’s dress and that became our third strand to the plait we made down the back of the dress.  You may remember we invented ‘the Vow Twist’ previously (3 strand plait), and we think this just adds something different and makes the dresses unrecognisable from the standard multiwrap dress.

So, there you have it – one dress worn in many different ways.  We have to remind you that every dress we used in this photoshoot is exactly the same dress other than obviously the colour and the styling we’ve created.  Hey Eliza & Ethan – your dresses are amazing!!

We should say a big thank you to a lot of people…
