We are so excited to show you the beautiful Dando London dresses. The materials are exquisite, and we wanted to bring you some clean-lined styles first. Less is definitely more with these dresses, and they have a real drama about them. We also think their quality defies the price, so we think they’ll be perfect for the Vow bride!
Dando London, created by Christine Dando, is a product of Christine’s well-travelled, cosmopolitan lifestyle. Christine attributes her love of beautiful things and ‘passion for a world of design’ to her extensive travels across Europe and Asia as a child, something she ensures her creations reflect.
Originally specialising in bespoke gowns, Christine was quickly recruited as Designer and Creative Director for the Alfred Sung range for Jai International and Jade Daniels. Her first collection ‘Christine Dando’ was launched under the Jai International corporate umbrella. More recently, Christine and Dando London can be seen on the popular TLC TV show ‘Say Yes to The Dress UK’, working with brides to help them pick their perfect dress.
We are thrilled to be stocking several of Dando London’s dresses. Dando London is the culmination of Christine’s experience and passion for creation, which radiates through each dress’s style change to (through the style of each dress), cut and hand-finished detail. Christine draws inspiration from various sources, such as Old Hollywood, ranging to the natural world, to ensure dresses are as diverse as the beautiful brides that wear them.

Add an element of opulence with the ‘Kate Moss’ gown; beautifully crafted with satin A-line pockets, an illusion back and draped sleeves, starry with elegant pearls. Similarly, from the ‘Legends’ collection, ‘Helen Mirrin’ (Mirren) embodies simplicity and class; plain ivory, strapless gown reflects the chicest brides. The ‘Legends’ collection gowns could be the perfect addition to a black-tie, city wedding or pair with a gorgeous outdoor summer wedding for the perfect blend of simplicity and beauty.
The singularly stocked ‘Hall of Fame’ dress ‘Julia Roberts’ includes a pleated and draped bodice built over the train and extending across the back. The dress fits through the waist, and across the hips, with button detail that extends the length of the train and optional long fitted sleeves to add extra drama. We can also make the train detachable if the bride wishes to have a 2-in-1 look on her Wedding Day. ‘Julia Roberts’ encompasses elegance and luxury whilst giving a beautifully modern feel to a classic style.
Finally our ‘Pure’ dress range! ‘Costa Rica’ embodies a Mikado ball gown, with a deep V neckline and low rounded back, accentuating the bride’s figure. Pockets in the skirt and a long cathedral-length train make ‘Costa Rica’ a similar choice to ‘Julia Roberts’ simplistic design and makes for a popular choice from the ‘Pure Range’.
‘Barbados’ boasts a Mikado a-line dress with an exquisite full lace mandarin neckline. The illusion back draped with a string of pearls makes the dress stunning from both the front and back. The little bow belt around the waist helps accentuate the bride’s waist for the most flattering look!
