We decided to buy new dresses by each of our existing 3 designers – Terry Fox, Sanyukta Shrestha & Madeline Isaac-James. We want to continue with our philosophy of being ‘design led not brand led’ – we don’t just have big names for the sake of it, we have brilliant designs…
We wanted to tell you about 3 key themes you’ll specifically find with our dresses this year and they are:
- Vintage lace
- Audrey Hepburn inspired
- Flexibility – because we know you love that and want different looks in one throughout the day!
Buying in this way allows us to have various styles around a theme/inspiration to suit different tastes and body shapes. For instance, you will be able to find an instantly recognisable Audrey Hepburn style with ‘Betty’ by Madeline Isaac-James. Slash neck, tight bodice, a full ¾ length skirt…
…And then you will find Sanyukta Shrestha’s latest collection all inspired by the romance & style of Audrey Hepburn with softer silk tulle skirts, specialised sashes to bring more detail as you wish, and floor length classic skirts. And then there are our vintage style lace gowns. Although Terry Fox’s latest collection is named ‘Jet Deco’ as a nod to the Art Deco era, many of her new gowns are made from gorgeous soft lace. Some are made with her signature patchwork lace and all have their own unique features. Whether it be the fabulous back detail of ‘Vintage Rose’ with ‘Poppy Buttons Jacket’…

Our designers are so thoughtful to their brides and this year even more so than in previous years, we have boleros, overlays, lace tops, sashes, detachable trains and vintage jackets, all of which can help change a look.
This means you can personalise your own style, layer up for different ‘reveals’ throughout the day, change the style to suit your surroundings, and quite frankly get excellent value for your money! Some of the overlays or jackets can even be worn again on special occasions after your wedding.
