Refurbishment will be starting on Wansford Bridge for 12 weeks commencing 8th October 2018. During this period the bridge will be closed to vehicles and you will not be able to enter the village from north of the river – the Church side of the river.
Signed diversions will be put in place and you may need to add extra time for your journey for your appointment. We hope the following directions may also be helpful:
A1 Travelling from the South.
This route is not affected, so take the slip road after the first sign for Wansford and you will find us almost immediately on the left before the T-Junction facing The Paper Mills
A1 Travelling from the North
Continue past the A47 junction (for Peterborough & Leicester). After approximately 1 mile take the Stibbington turn off and then follow signs for A1 North. On the A1 North take the slip road after the first sign for Wansford and you will find us almost immediately on the left before the T-Junction facing The Paper Mills.
A47 Travelling East or West
At the A47/A1 junction take the slip road for the A1 Southbound. Once on the A1 southbound after approximately 1 mile take the Stibbington turn off and then follow signs for A1 North. On the A1 North take the slip road after the first sign for Wansford and you will find us almost immediately on the left before the T-Junction facing The Paper Mills
